The Work is Never Done when Dealing with the Snow

Back out again this morning with a lowly temperature of -1c. The sun made it quite pleasant, but there was no melting of the snow today.

I had to again shake of the ice and snow that was adding pressure on the small veg under the cloches.

They are surviving and looking healthy considering their harsh conditions.

I have to say it does feel great still technically gardening at this time of year. Usually it would be all over after tidying up in October. It is a nice feeling gardening with snow all around.

Future Plans

I will be seriously considering creating a mini greenhouse/nursery up on the top section to the right. From the pictures you can see how they even get the winter sun. The only problem is the lack of water retention in the hotter summer.
